9. Saving
the file
If you
downloaded the file that I told you to get at the beggining of
this tutorial the next part is easy. If you didn't get the file....you
fool!!!!
anyways...
now that you have the alpha channel the way you like select "save
as.." from the file menu. Select the
Tribes2\GameData\base\textures\skins
directory and name the skin with the .png exention. The following
window will pop up

Make sure
that None and None are selected and save the file.
Go into
Tribes 2 make sure you have your environmental mapping enabled
and away you go..
Also note
that you have to have a whole set of skins before you can see
them in tribes2. So, for example I have the following..
Doctor.hmale.png
Doctor.mmale.png
Doctor.lmale.png
Doctor.mfemale.png
Doctor.lfemale.png
