Full spectrum stereo-optical sensor
This gives the DALEK greater than human vision with stereoscopic and depth-of-field display. It can go into the infrared range for low light vision, or up into the ultraviolet range. It can also act as a telescopic or microscopic device.

Sensor array for extra-spectral vision
These plates allow vision into alternate spreads of the EM spectrum. They allow the DALEK to see Gamma rays, X-rays, Delta waves and many more.

3-D imaging sensor
This sensor not only allows for incredibly accurate measurements, it also allows the DALEK to peal away an object layer by layer.

Chemical sensor/analysis array
This array is the DALEKS nose. It can detect most elements in the smallest of amounts (parts per-million) and pass this data on to the onboard computers for analysis.

Short range communication rings
These allow DALEKS to stay in constant contact with the rest of their squad using regular FM communications. These communications can be jammed or monitored with standard FM gear.

Subspace Field sensor array
Contained within this protective shroud is an array of sensors that enable the DALEK to pick up subspace field modulations. Working in conjunction with other squad members and utilizing the short range communications device the DALEKS can triangulate subspace and chronometric field distortions.

Eye Stalk
Now based on a rotating ball concept the eye stalk allows the DALEK full mobility in its viewing (even around corners and behind its back!!!)

Long range (Sub-space) Communications array
This allows the DALEK to communicate with the central command based in the area, usually a mother ship. It can pass gathered data on for analysis as well. It flashes with a blue-green hue along with the eye slits when in use.

Shield generators
Unlike most DALEKS in the past that used panels located around the "shoulders" as solar-power collectors, These DALEKS use this area to contain the Short-range shield generator plates. Much like Star Treks Borg these adapt to protect. They do have one flaw, they only protect in a lateral direction, meaning the DALEK is vulnerable to attacks from above and below.

DALEK Manipulator Arm
There a plenty of changes here, but I've tried to keep it initial plunger concept.

Optical Data Interfaces
Dotted along the edge of the plunger are fiber-optic interface ports. When connected to a control/access terminal this allows the DALEK to send/receive data at very fast rates.

Manipulator field generator
This device generates up to 4 directional beams of antigravity. By generating + or - beams the DALEK can pull/push objects around.

Manipulator field coil ring
By generating 2 polarized beams per axis, this allows the DALEK to rotate objects within the 4 antigravity fields in 3 axis (pitch, yaw, bank)

Recharge ports
(not labeled) contained within the recessed notches of the edge of the manipulator plunger, these ports allow the DALEK to recharge its power distribution coils

Plunger rotation
Like the eye-stalk the plunger it self is on a rotating ball. This allows the DALEK to aim the antigravity beams towards objects usually out of its reach

Extender arm
Like all DALEKS before the arm extends to increase the reach of the DALEK

Laser Coolant containers
These replaceable containers hold compressed liquid helium to cool the pre-charge phase coils to prevent distortions of the coils.

Charge capacitors
These capacitors glow different colors depending on the frequency of the out put of the pre-charge phase coils. By generating different frequencies the gun can be used as a multi purpose device.

Laser emitter
Like the old water pistols where the barrel tip can turn to face a different direction than the main portion of the gun is facing, the tip of the DALEK gun can redirect the energy discharge in a wide arc. This makes the gun very accurate and requires little movement (except up and down)

Stun mode
This seldom used mode generates a 10 micro-fared beam at 60 cycles. This knocks most nervous systems of organic beings into a "out of sync" state. This state results in nerve impulses to be scrambled and produces an knocked out state in the being. By increasing the beam strength (10-50 micro-fareds) the time span of the stun mode can be increased from the average 30 seconds to several hours.

Paralyze mode
Like the stun mode this is rarely used. It uses a less than 10 micro-fared beam at 120 kHz. This creates a localized zone of paralysis in the area of the body where the beam hits. This effect last for a few hours and cant be altered.

Exterminate setting
The DALEKS favorite setting. This is 10,000 volt beam at 60 cycles. This pretty much fries the nervous system and stops the hearts of most organic beings. Produces strong ozone scent.

The anti-grav field generators located on the bottom of the DALEK travel machine allow the DALEK to "float" a few micro-meters about the current terrain. The coil section surrounding the generator "balls" re-direct the anti-grav field to allow the machine to rotate and move in any direction. By increasing the output strength of the field the DALEK will move upwards and allow it to climb the ever defeating stair case
